I really like the ones of the frog on the shell. The incongruity of it—frogs don't 'go' with shells! And the contrast/irony, especially coming after a picture of a snail, which is an animal that does live in a shell.
The whole idea of metamorphosis and change: the frog symbolic of transformation and different modes of life (as a tadpole, froglet and frog), and the shell symbolic of homes left behind.
Too many thoughts on a Wednesday morning. But this could be the Advent post I never thought I'd read!
Hey! I just noticed your comment. I had quite a few tiny frogs visiting me lately...wonder what that means..If only they could turn into handsome princes..hehe...sheeesh :p
